SQL/PL/SQL Developer

SQL/PL/SQL DeveloperImmediate need for a talented SQL/PL/SQL Developer. This is a 03+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid). Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects, including:PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggersTables, views, indexes, and materialized viewsPerformance tuning and query optimizationAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Perform root-cause analysis and resolve production issues.Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans.Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities.Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance standards.Communication & Leadership ResponsibilitiesAct as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and design reviews.Clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Provide status updates, risks, and dependencies to management.Collaborate with QA, developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions on schedule.Document solutions thoroughly and maintain high-quality technical in client meetings and confidently present technical Requirements and Technology Experience:Key Skills; Primary Skill: PL/SQLSecondary Skill: ETLTertiary Skill: SQLOracle Database (12c/19c or later)Advanced PL/SQL developmentSQL performance tuningData modeling and database designVersion control tools (Git, Bitbucket)Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applicationsRequired Communication SkillsExcellent verbal and written communicationStrong presentation and stakeholder-management skillsAbility to gather and clarify complex requirementsExperience leading technical discussions and working sessionsAbility to communicate effectively with senior management and business usersStrong documentation and analytical skillsPreferred CharacteristicsProactive problem solverDetail-oriented and highly organizedCustomer-focused mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesStrong teamwork and collaboration skills.Our client is a leading Financial Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
