Our fast-growing, technologically-driven manufacturing firm is seeking Operators for Swing shift (rotating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift). - Swing shift (Rotating shifts weekly, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd) NOTE: All shifts receive 1 week (Monday through Friday) off per month and are required to work 2 weekends (12 hour shifts) per month. This position will provide successful candidates with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills, and work as a team within a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate for this role has 2+ years of experience in the manufacturing sector, pays strong attention to detail, is dedicated to learning, and is committed to workplace safety. Our Plant Location - 112 SELIT Drive - Commerce, GA 30529 Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties - Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available - Effectively monitor production equipment - Resolve operational issues and escalate them as necessary to Lead Operator - Operate forklifts to move, pull, load, and unload materials - Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace - Follow established safety rules and regulations; maintain good 5S and cleanliness during the shift Schedule Requirements - Required to work two weekends per month (weekends are 2x12 hour shifts) - Will have 1 week (Monday - Friday) off per month Your Skillset - Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting - Fulfill physical requirements of the position including walking, standing, stooping, and climbing - Able to lift a maximum of 60 pounds and stand for an eight-hour work shift - Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts; 24/7 operation may require to work adjusted shifts - Committed to quality, safety, and communication Preferred Qualifications - High school diploma or GED - Minimum of two (2) years industrial experience or in related areas What We Offer - Competitive fixed hourly wage & shift differentials - Weekly payroll - Discretionary bonus (paid annually) - Contributions to company plans for medical, 401k, life insurance - Company dental and vision plan Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Night shift Overnight shift Overtime Rotating weekends People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: Machine Operator: 2 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Commerce, GA 30529 (Required) Work Location: In person
