We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for architectural millwork projects, ensuring that all project costs are identified and accounted for. Using Innergy, our estimating software, you will be tasked with analyzing project specifications, collaborating with project managers and clients, and providing competitive and precise cost breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities
Estimate Project Costs: Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for millwork projects.
Utilize Innergy: Leverage the Innergy estimating software to input, analyze, and generate cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
Material and Labor Analysis: Calculate material costs, labor rates, and overheads. Assess labor requirements, materials, and finishes required for the millwork.
Vendor Coordination: Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and ensure competitive pricing on materials, hardware, and other necessary components.
Client and Team Collaboration: Work closely with the project management team to communicate project requirements, scope, and timelines.
Change Order Management: Track and process change orders, ensuring that they are reflected in the final estimate and updated in the project budget.
Review and Finalize Estimates: Present estimates to clients and internal stakeholders for review, ensuring that all details and assumptions are clearly communicated.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience in estimating architectural millwork, cabinetry, or a related field preferred but not required. Experience working with Innergy or similar estimating software is a plus.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, fabrication methods, and costs.
Proficiency with estimating software, as well as Microsoft Excel and other office tools.
Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
