Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Make a meaningful impact supporting middle school students as a School Psychologist in the San Juan Capistrano area for the 2026 fall semester. This is a full-time contract opportunity, providing essential services at a single middle school campus. Your expertise will help foster a positive environment for student growth and development in an engaging and collaborative setting.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for middle school students.Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective interventions and support plans.Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing your insights to best support students' needs.Implement evidence-based counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies.Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote social-emotional learning and mental well-being.Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by district and state guidelines.Facilitate communication among students, families, and school personnel for holistic care.Qualifications:Master's degree in School Psychology or closely related field.Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology.Previous experience as a School Psychologist, ideally with middle school students.Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive school climate.This assignment runs from August 17th to November 20th, providing ideal hands-on experience for those passionate about educational psychology.
