Assistant Project Manager - Commercial & Hospitality ConstructionPosition OverviewWe are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support delivery of commercial, hospitality, and multifamily residential construction projects. The role assists Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, construction site experience, and the ability to work with subcontractors, design teams, and clients throughout project lifecycles.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily site activities across commercial, hospitality, and multifamily residential projects.Manage and track submittals, RFIs, drawings, and document workflows to ensure timely responses and approvals.Assist with cost control activities including tracking budgets, change orders, invoices, and progress billings.Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client representatives to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.Attend and lead site meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items and punchlist items.Monitor onsite quality control and safety compliance; work with site teams to address nonconformances and implement corrective actions.Support procurement and logistics for materials and equipment to maintain schedule continuity.Maintain project documentation in the project management system and prepare regular status reports for internal teams and clients.Assist in closeout activities including commissioning, warranties, O&M manuals, and final inspections.Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and participating in project reviews and lessons learned.QualificationsBachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.2+ years of experience in construction roles such as assistant project manager, project coordinator, or superintendent support experience in commercial, hospitality, or multifamily residential projects strongly preferred.Working knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid, Buildertrend or similar), MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with BIM or Revit is a plus.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of building effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.Detailoriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.Comfortable spending time on active job sites; valid drivers license and ability to travel to project locations as needed.Certifications such as OSHA 10/30, PMP, or CCM are advantageous but not required.Email Your Resume In Word ToCody.McIntyre@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
