Summary:Ref #: A-LCSW-66064Profession: Allied HealthSpecialty: Social Worker / Supervisor - Adult Behavioral Health / Social WorkJob Type: Full-timeStart Date: ASAPLocation: Southgate, MIShift Schedule: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PMWeekend Requirements: Based on program needs.Shift Type: DaysRequirements: Must have a master's degree in social work andfull licensure (LMSW only)in the State of Michigan.Must have at least two years of experience working with or treating adults with serious mental illness.Experience working in a community mental health setting. - HIGHLY PREFEREDSupervisory experience and experience working as a member of an ACT team. - HIGHLY PREFERREDCandidate will meet the criteria for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) consistent with current certification standards for adult programs within 120 days of hire.Must also have a Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor (CAADC) credential or have the ability to be on an approved for a professional development plan for a CAADC through MCBAP within 30 days of hire. Must apply for a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) development plan through MCBAP once the CAADC has been issued and obtain the CCS within the timeframe allowed by MCBAP.Must demonstrate competence in mental health and co-occurring substance use treatment. Candidates must be willing to maintain the fidelity of the ACT model, and to lead a team of ACT advocates, nurses and peer support specialists.Must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with clients, community members and agency staff, and the ability to work both independently and as a team member.Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in order to track and prepare data. Additional requirements include a nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of our clients, their families, and staff members from all of the programs represented at The Guidance Center.Must have the ability to appropriately handle crisis situations.Cannot accept candidates who are on student/work visas, and/or require sponsorship to work in the U.S. at this time.Michigan license
