Job Description: Chief Technical Architect (CTA)Role SummaryThe Chief Technical Architect (CTA) is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and driving the enterprise architecture vision across business units and technology domains. This includes aligning architecture with business goals, enabling platform-led innovation, and rationalizing legacy systems-especially critical in transformation programs like mergers and acquisitions.Client: WiproJob Location: Seattle and if not, we are ok for remote with travel optionsEngagement type: ContractKey ResponsibilitiesStrategic Vision & Alignment- Define future-state architecture aligned with business growth, speed, and customer experience.- Rationalize legacy systems post-acquisition and enable platform-led innovation.- Partner with CTO and senior leadership to ensure architectural governance and stakeholder alignment.Execution & Governance- Establish architecture councils and federated teams for governance.- Drive simplification and modernization across workstreams.- Sequence initiatives for quick wins and long-term capabilities.Measurement & Success Metrics- Define KPIs such as:• Time-to-market for new services• Reduction in technical debt• API adoption rates• Platform scalability• Stakeholder satisfactionSkills & QualificationsTechnical Skills- Enterprise Architecture- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)- Microservices & API Design- DevOps & CI/CDLeadership Skills- Strategic Planning- Stakeholder Management- Team Building & Mentoring- Communication & InfluenceCertifications
