Security Architect

Security Architect - 100% remote (EST)We are partnering with a large, enterprise organization to hire a Security Architect who will operate as a key extension of senior leadership - supporting day-to-day security initiatives while growing into a leadership role.This is not a traditional architecture role. It is designed for someone who combines broad security knowledge, strong communication skills, and leadership potential.What You’ll Be DoingAct as a central point of coordination across security and IT teams (think: problem solver, connector, and decision enabler)Support architectural discussions while guiding initiatives and helping move work forwardParticipate in high-level meetings and represent the security team with confidenceHelp triage issues, identify the right teams, and ensure problems are resolved efficientlyTake ownership of day-to-day operational challenges and run with them independentlyBuild relationships across the organization to influence outcomes and drive progressWhat We’re Looking For5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or architectureExposure across multiple domains (e.g., IAM, Security Operations, GRC, Vulnerability Management, AppSec)Strong communication skills and executive presence — must be comfortable in meetings with leadershipProven ability to take ownership and operate in ambiguous environmentsSomeone who naturally steps up, asks the right questions, and drives things forwardLeadership potential (formal leadership experience is a plus, but not required)
