R&D Formulation/Process Technician IWe are looking for a Research and Development (R&D) Technician who can bring both solid dose and soft gel manufacturing experience to the Pilot Plant Product Development team in Ada. Your job will be to conduct trials on the products designed by our scientists. You will work in partnership with scientists, and engineers in the pilot plant lab to deliver new products to manufacturing.This role offers a lot of variety and a fast-paced day to day. Working in a supportive environment you will: Collect raw materials based on a set formula Blend the materials Perform testing on the mix, from.5 kilogram batches up to 20 kilogram batches Record observations Submit samples of the mix back to the scientistThis is an exciting role for someone interested in working on new product development, collaborating with a team involved in testing and creating innovative products for our Nutrition product portfolio. If you want to work in an active, collaborative environment, this is a special opportunity!Required Qualifications:1 year of manufacturing experience, with knowledge of related equipment (blenders, mixers, packaging)Experience with Solid Dose Manufacturing and/or soft gel manufacturing (tableting, compressions, coating, etc)Experience working with GMP standards, as well as 5S and Kaizen standardsExperience in cleaning processesProficiency in Microsoft office applications (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.)To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to organize and document your findings clearly and in accordance with GMP standards. You'll be measured on your ability to deliver useful observations and deliver tests quickly, while still continuing to learn. Also, key abilities would include: Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to file detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Experience producing effective documentation Ability to work without direct supervision Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to prioritizeNote: Amway does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
