Concession Manager

The Concessions Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of all food and beverage concessions within the water park. This includes overseeing staff, managing inventory, ensuring food safety and quality, and maximizing profitability. This position reports to the Assistant Pool Manager/Pool Manager.DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSSupervise all concession stand operations, including staffing, scheduling, and daily production.Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all concession areas and equipment.Monitor food and beverage quality, ensuring freshness and adherence to established standardsConduct daily and weekly inventory counts of all food, beverage, and suppliesPlace orders for food, beverage, and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.Recruit, hire, train, and supervise concession stand staff, including cashiers and food handlers.Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate daily cash reconciliations.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.Conduct regular food safety inspections and maintain necessary documentation including temperature control sheets, sanitation records, cleaning logs, and other standard food safety regulations.Manage and track inventory costs to minimize waste and maximize profitabilityOther duties as assigned by the supervisorHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredServSafe Manager Certification required.Minimum 1 year of experience in food service management, or equivalentStrong organizational and time-management skillsProven ability to manage and motivate a teamAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsMeet the minimum age requirement of at least 21 years of ageKnowledge of food cost analysis and inventory control systemsMust be certified or willing to attain certification in CPR & First Aid within 90 days of hire.JOB STATUS Part time DEPARTMENT Recreation FSLA STATUS Non-ExemptSALARY $17 per hour
