High school math/science teacher

Job Description Will teach high school math and science. Since these are related fields we can accept experience only teaching science as long as applicant is able and willing to teach high school math, including algebra 2. We expect applicant to teach chemistry one year, physics another, no experience necessary, just a willingness to teach these subjects. We will provide whatever training and materials are needed. We want the right applicant to also teach an elective each semester that they have experience or interest in that will also be of interest/value to students. Class size will be no more than 24, with no more than 48 total students per year. Will work with varying ability levels with some needing modifications, others needing work that will challenge them at the upper end. Students are expected to work individually, in small groups, and whole group settings. Will work a 10 month Monday to Friday schedule. Only one class change per day, after lunch. Administration includes staff in decision making and is especially seeking to attract out of the box, non-traditional applicants for this nontraditional setting.
