Chair Massage Specialist

Job Description The Chair Massage Specialist provides on-site, short session therapeutic chair massage services in corporate offices, events, and mobile wellness environments. Our goal is to reduce stress, improve employee wellness, and deliver a professional, luxury wellness experience aligned with the Unwind & Destress brand.Unwind & Destress is a premium mobile corporate wellness company delivering chair massage services directly to workplaces, events, and private organizations. We are seeking licensed Massage Therapists (or experienced chair massage professionals) to join our growing mobile wellness team as independent contractors (1099).ResponsibilitiesPerform 10–20 minute seated chair massage sessions for employees and event guestsFocus on upper body tension relief (neck, shoulders, back, arms, hands)Set up and break down portable massage chair and supplies at event locationsMaintain professionalism in corporate office and event environmentsManage time efficiently and maintain smooth client flow during bookingsEnsure client comfort, safety, and proper positioningCommunicate professionally with event coordinators and staffMaintain clean and organized equipment between sessionsDesired Skills & QualificationsLicensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in good standing (Florida license preferred or required)Experience in chair massage, mobile massage, or therapeutic massageStrong knowledge of upper body tension relief techniquesAbility to perform consistent short-session treatments (10–20 minutes)Excellent time management and professionalism in fast-paced environmentsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently without supervisionReliable transportation and punctuality (30 min prior to the scheduled events)Comfortable working in corporate, event, and public environmentsPay & Compensation"Independent Contractor (1099) Agreement"Pay based on experience and assignment type:$60 to 80 per hour (varies by event and client contract)Potential per-session or per-event flat rate opportunitiesBonus opportunities for high-demand events and consistent performancePerks & Benefits (Contractor Flexibility)Flexible schedule – accept or decline assignmentsNo daily office requirement (mobile/event-based work)Opportunity to work with corporate clients and premium eventsConsistent event opportunities as company growsExposure to high-end corporate wellness contractsProfessional brand association with a luxury wellness companyAbility to build your own schedule and workloadGrowth opportunities into lead therapist or event coordinator rolesWork EnvironmentCorporate officesWellness events & corporate appreciation daysConferences & exposPrivate business wellness programsContract TypeThis is a 1099 Independent Contractor position.
