We are building a high-performance engineering culture focused on quality, reliability, collaboration, and rapid delivery.Position SummaryWe are looking for a Quality Analyst to lead high-impact manual testing across web, mobile, and API surfaces. This role is focused on deep exploratory testing, risk-based validation, and release quality leadership in close partnership with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Automation Engineers.This is a manual-only role. There is no expectation to build or maintain automated test frameworks.You will be expected to help drive, organize, and maintain test plans in Azure DevOps and ensure strong traceability from requirements through execution and defect outcomes. You will also serve as one of the formal quality gates for releases, helping determine go/no-go readiness based on risk, coverage, and defect impact.What You Will DriveLead manual test strategy and execution for complex features and end-to-end workflows.Design and maintain high-quality manual test plans, test cases, and scenario coverage.Perform advanced exploratory testing to uncover edge cases, usability gaps, and hidden defects.Validate API behavior manually using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or Scalar.Validate data integrity using SQL queries and cross-system checks in lower environments.Execute end-to-end, integration, and regression testing across environments.Drive and maintain test plans, test suites, and test case traceability in Azure DevOps.Partner with Product and Engineering to refine requirements, acceptance criteria, and testability.Work closely with Automation Engineers to identify automation candidates, share risk insights, and align manual and automated coverage.Document defects with clear reproduction steps, impact, severity, and risk context.Support release readiness through quality sign-off input and risk assessment.Serve as a formal quality gate in release decisions with clear go/no-go recommendations.Champion manual QA standards for documentation quality, traceability, and defect hygiene.Core ResponsibilitiesServe as a senior manual testing expert for high-priority and business-critical initiatives.Provide risk-based quality assessments and recommend go/no-go considerations for releases.Act as one of the release quality gates by presenting readiness signals, residual risks, and final QA recommendations.Improve test coverage depth and consistency through strong test design practices.Drive defect triage quality with clear communication and actionable diagnostics.Maintain high-quality Azure DevOps test artifacts that reflect current scope, risk, and release priorities.Collaborate closely with Automation Engineers to reduce coverage gaps and improve end-to-end quality outcomes.Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and advocate for quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.Mentor QA peers on exploratory testing, defect analysis, and quality best practices.Required Qualifications6+ years of hands-on manual QA experience in modern web, SaaS, or enterprise software environments.Strong experience with exploratory, scenario-based, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.Experience validating REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, Scalar, or comparable API testing tools.Solid SQL skills for backend validation, data integrity checks, and defect investigation.Hands-on experience building and maintaining test plans, test suites, and test cases in Azure DevOps or a similar ALM platform.Ability to evaluate release risk and communicate clear QA recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong defect investigation, triage, root-cause collaboration, and written communication skills.Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Automation partners.Preferred QualificationsExperience testing applications built with React, React Native, and .NET service ecosystems.Familiarity with performance or load testing concepts, such as k6 or Apache JMeter.ISTQB or comparable QA certification.Experience supporting release quality gates, deployment readiness reviews, or production risk assessments.What Success Looks LikeImproved manual coverage for priority web, mobile, API, integration, and data workflows.Earlier discovery of high-risk defects through stronger exploratory and risk-based testing practices.Better Azure DevOps test plan hygiene, traceability, and execution visibility.Clearer release readiness reporting with actionable risk summaries and go/no-go recommendations.Faster defect triage through high-quality reproduction steps, impact analysis, and supporting diagnostics.Stronger collaboration between manual QA and Automation Engineers to reduce coverage gaps over time.Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is a senior manual quality professional who combines deep testing judgment with strong product curiosity, clear communication, and disciplined execution.
