Inventory Management Support B
Job Summary: The Inventory Management Support B is responsible for supporting inventory operations including receiving, stocking, kitting, issuing, and tracking materials. This role ensures accurate inventory control, compliance with company and government regulations, and efficient material flow to support manufacturing and program requirements. Key Responsibilities: Receive, count, sort, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders Process receipts into company inventory systems Package, label, and stock materials in appropriate storage locations Build kits and issue parts to support production and program needs Transport materials from stockroom to production areas Perform cycle counts, periodic inventory checks, and reconcile discrepancies Maintain accurate inventory records to ensure full accountability Ensure compliance with 5S standards and maintain clean work areas Follow OSHA and company safety standards and report hazards Support additional supply chain functions such as shipping, inspections, and HAZMAT handling as needed Complete documentation and data entry accurately Required Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Ability to read, write, and interpret policies, procedures, and reports Good communication and teamwork skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems Minimum 4 years of experience in inventory control, stockroom, or material handling required Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality standards Ability to handle inventory documentation and data accurately Preferred Skills: Experience with Costpoint and/or SAP Ariba systems Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO/AS standards) Experience working with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality) Knowledge of inventory control and material handling processes Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Education: High School
