This role will support a variety of business initiatives, including coordination and execution related to new product launches. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, monitor, and close projects according to deadlines and budget requirementsDevelop detailed project plans, schedules, timelines, and resource allocationsCoordinate internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project deliverySupport project activities related to new product development and product launch initiativesCollaborate with engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and leadership teams throughout project lifecyclesIdentify project risks and develop mitigation strategiesMonitor project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholdersManage project scope and change requests while minimizing impact on timelines and costsFacilitate project meetings, document action items, and ensure follow-throughEnsure projects comply with company standards, procedures, and quality expectationsTrack project performance metrics and prepare reports for managementLead continuous improvement efforts within project management processesMorton Industries, LLC. is an Equal Opportunity EmployerRequired QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of project management experience requiredStrong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practicesExcellent organizational, leadership, and communication skillsExperience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work effectively across cross-functional teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or related field preferredPMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferredExperience supporting new product launches or product development projectsExperience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or related environmentsMaster’s degree or additional certifications are a plusCore CompetenciesLeadership and team managementStrategic thinking and planningRisk managementBudget and cost controlStakeholder communicationTime management and prioritizationConflict resolutionAdaptability in a fast-paced environment
