Job Full DescriptionPosition: Parts Coordinator & Inventory Specialist (Temp-to-Perm)Shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday-FridayPay: $18/hrLocation: Wilmer TxPosition SummaryThe Parts Specialist & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing parts inventory, sourcing and ordering components, and ensuring accurate tracking of all materials. This role supports daily operations by maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing downtime, and ensuring technicians have the parts they need when they need them.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain accurate inventory levels of parts and suppliesReceive, inspect, and stock incoming shipmentsTrack inventory using software systems and perform regular audits/cycle countsSource and order parts from vendors while ensuring cost efficiency and timely deliveryCoordinate with technicians and service teams to fulfill parts requestsMaintain organized storage areas for quick and efficient accessMonitor usage trends and forecast inventory needsHandle returns, warranty claims, and defective partsEnsure proper documentation of all inventory transactionsMaintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing when appropriateQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)1-3 years experience in parts, inventory, warehouse, or related roleStrong organizational and time management skillsExperience with inventory management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)Basic computer skills (Excel, email, data entry)Ability to lift and move parts/materials as neededStrong attention to detail and accuracyPreferred SkillsKnowledge of automotive, truck, or equipment parts (depending on industry)Vendor negotiation and purchasing experienceProblem-solving and multitasking abilityStrong communication and teamwork skillsExpress Employment Professionals is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
