Requirements Experience 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. Must have at least 12 months of Progressive Care Unit experience. Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months. References Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role License Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license Certifications BLS (Required) NIHSS (Required) ACLS (Required) Vaccinations Flu vaccination required. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Neurological/Psychiatric, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Medications, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Oncology, Cardiovascular, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Additional Skills, Amio and cardizem drip, Post watchman and ablation -Note: Will take STRONG MS/Tele or PCU RNs Preferred Skills/Experience: Central line care/management, External CPAP/BIPAP*, Titrate Cardiac drips, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Work Settings, MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID -Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Unit/Facility Details: Mixed Acuity Unit - Medical patient with some PCU level of care patients. We are also the oncology and stroke unit. MS patients are 1:5-6 ratio and PCU patients 1:3-4 -Parking Cost: Free Shift & Scheduling: Every Other Weekend Details: AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
