Workplace Exp Coordinator Pay Rate: $25 - 26/HR Location: 200 E Randolph Dr. Chicago IL - Hours: 8-5 M-F Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances: Working directly with the manager Resource's typical working day: First point of contact for all those entering the facility. Greet them with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Issue visitor and parking passes and follow security protocols. Make a memorable first impression by answering the telephone in a professional manner. Create presentations and speak to various-sized groups. Arrange and confirm recreational, dining, and business activities on behalf of the requestor. Manage janitorial or maintenance work orders as needed. Coordinate and execute workplace services including mail, office supply services, and onboarding. Acknowledge inquiries or complaints from employees, guests, and co-workers. Provide solutions in a professional customer service-driven manner. Organize and manage on-site events. This includes securing event space, set up and tear down of the room, and delivery of supplies. Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures. Notify appropriate parties to ensure the safety of all individuals in the building. Coordinate with vendors who supply services or goods to the workplace. Explain detailed and/or complicated information within the team. Follow specific directions as given by the manager. Impact through clearly defined duties, and methods and tasks are described in detail. Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. Must Have Skills: Finance Background: A foundational understanding of finance processes is beneficial, especially in support of procurement, vendor coordination, or budget-related tasks. Strong Communication Skills Clear, professional, and effective communication, both verbal and written, is essential for liaising with vendors, stakeholders, and senior leadership. Front-Facing Customer Service Experience Previous experience in a customer-facing role is valuable, particularly in environments that require a polished and service-oriented demeanor. Proactive Work Ethic The manager is seeking candidates who are self-starters and take initiative without requiring extensive direction. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Coupa-Related Experience is a plus. Nice to have skills: Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable expressing ideas clearly, actively listening, and adapting communication style to different audiences, especially when collaborating with cross-functional teams or senior stakeholders. Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively across teams, contribute to group goals, and build strong working relationships based on respect and trust. Willing to acquire new skills and adapt to the evolving needs of the role. Years of Experience: 3-5 years of experience and/or job-related experience. Education: High School Diploma or GED Software skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Skilled in Email Management Tools and professional correspondence Familiarity with Coupa (experience preferred) Interview Process: 1-2 level of interview (virtual) Summary: As a Workplace Experience Coordinator, you'll be responsible for delivering a world-class customer service experience to employees and guests of a designated building.
