We work closely with local farms and producers, build seasonally driven menus, and develop concepts that are both creatively distinct and operationally rigorous.Job Description:The Hospitality Associate is a versatile front-of-house team member responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences across multiple food and beverage outlets throughout campus. Depending on operational needs, experience, and training, Hospitality Associates may work as cashiers, hosts, servers, bartenders, food runners, support staff or baristas.This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and are excited to contribute to a dynamic hospitality program supporting a world-renowned cultural destination.Responsibilities:Welcome guests with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm.Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong knowledge of menus, beverages, events, and venue offerings.Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems.Assist guests with menu selections, dietary questions, and general campus information.Take food and beverage orders and ensure accurate and timely delivery.Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and applicable laws.Support dining room operations through food running, table maintenance, clearing, and resetting.Assist with guest seating, waitlists, reservations, and crowd flow management.Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, bars, service stations, and guest-facing spaces.Restock supplies, glassware, serviceware, and merchandise as needed.Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.Follow all food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and company operating procedures.Adapt to varying assignments and support multiple venues throughout the campus as needed.Qualifications:Previous hospitality, restaurant, retail, customer service, or food and beverage experience preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Positive attitude and commitment to guest service excellence.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Ability to remain professional and composed during busy service periods.Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.TIPS Certification required for employees assigned to bartending duties (or willingness to obtain before start date).Benefits:Flexible schedulingPaid trainingOpportunities for advancement and cross-trainingWork in a unique cultural and hospitality environmentEmployee discounts where applicableWork Location: In personThe Commonwealth Exchange is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
