School Safety Officer

Effective: August 202610 month position (work 185 days per year)Qualifications/Requirements: Previous experience in law enforcement is required, and school resource officer experience is preferred. Must meet local licensing requirements as a security officer, as defined through St. Charles County. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, staff, and the community. Excellent decision-making ability, demonstrating a high degree of initiative, independent judgement, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Proficient in conflict de-escalation and emergency response techniques.
