Retail ManagerThis Retail Manager position for our Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's CLUB program is a unique position in our retail locations. The Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's CLUB is a comprehensive customer loyalty program that allows customers to better connect with our company and the outdoors. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Managers, associates, customers, and the public.Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups.Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and electronic point of sale and inventory management systems.Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, associates, customers and with the Corporate Staff.Demonstrated use of Team concept of ManagementTravel Requirements:As needed for training and CLUB off-site eventsPhysical Requirements:Constantly communicates with others to exchange informationRegularly computer work, walking and standingOccasionally sitting and lifting up to 50lbsOccasionally work in outdoor elements, hot and cold temperaturesOccasionally work in noisy environmentsWork Environment:Retail/StoreIndependent Judgement:Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within the general scope of established operational goals and plans.
