Scrum Master

The ideal candidate should be effective at managing me while working with cross functional teams on multiple initiatives.Responsibilities & Skills Required -The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 7 or more years of experience as Scrum Master and project management experience with successful delivery experience in the Financial Services domain.A change agent, with a passion for collaborative working, to support our teams and improve and deliver exceptional output.Experience working in Agile teams and an understanding of Agile practices.Proficiency facilitating Squad/Scrum meetings to ensure they are solutions focused.Experience helping Agile teams establish and adhere to norms and practicesAbility to collaborate with team members on solutions to address challenges and roadblocks.A continuous improvement mind-set and dedication to finding creative ways of workingAbility to influence behaviour without having formal organizational hierarchy.A dedication to cross-function collaboration, communication and breaking down of silosWork directly in a squad to drive performance using Agile values, Practices, and processesWorking with the Product Owner, candidate will support the work of the squad by maintaining the backlog and facilitating Agile ceremonies like stand ups, sprint planning and retrospectivesCandidate will monitor team performance through the Squad s metrics dashboard and help identify continuous improvement opportunities to support the team to work smarter, and more effectively.Provide transparency to Fleet Delivery Lead with respect to risks, blockers, impediments at Scrum of Scrum calls and recommend/impediment strategies for effective and efficient operationsConduct squad assessments to ensure agile principles and best practices are being met and achievedPartner with Product Owners to plan quarterly IBR with focus on Strategic Objectives, Initiatives and Capabilities based on business roadmap as well as priorizing and executing modernization and hygiene work items.Participate in all Squad and Fleet ceremonies including Scrum of Scrums, IBR Planning, IBR check-ins and Fleet DemoAs the squad coach, communicate effectively, proactively with recommendations for continuously improving the squadsEnsure squad agile trainings are taken and squad rosters maintainedEnsure Jira hygiene is maintained daily on Jira Board. Maintain existing Jira dashboards and build new informative dashboards to communicate data and drive performance improvements.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to resolve impediments to meet all deadlinesExperience in working with agile and deployment lifecycles and/or tracking and process management tools, eg. JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Release Change Management, Remedy Change Management and othersFollow Change Management Release process and create Change proposal and change tasks in Remedy Change RequestMonitor deployments during releasesIdentify and analyze opportunities and make tactical/strategic recommendationsDeep skills in project management tools, including Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Visio and SharePointHands on project management approach that includes a proven track record of project executionPlan and conduct relevant meetings with key stakeholdersSelf-motivated with exceptional oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely.Desired Skills -Experience in working on Technology projects related to Financial Services domainKnowledge of Wealth Management, Analytics and Data & related financial services applicationsAgile Expertise in Scrum principles and processesScrum Master Certification
