Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Med Surg Tele/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM/n• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 across all shifts/n• Every other weekend requirement/n• No on-call responsibilities/n• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs between like units/n• 2 years of nursing experience required/n• First-time travelers accepted/n• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start/n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS/n• NIH stroke scale certification preferred/n• Telemetry competency required/n• Previous charge experience preferred/n• Community hospital experience preferred/n• 24 hours of orientation provided/n• Royal blue scrubs required/n• Epic charting system/n• Free parking available/n• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks/n• Block schedule accommodations may be requested but not guaranteed/n• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including diabetes, hypertension, CAD, seizures, CVA, TIA, and chronic renal disease/n• Work with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary/n• Hurricane season assignment to emergency response teams may be required from June through November/n/nFacility:/nThis Level III trauma acute care hospital features 286 staffed beds and serves as a comprehensive healthcare facility providing advanced medical services to the community. The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and maintains a 43-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit with a daily census of 36 patients.
