Serves as a mentor and provides training for the Support Clerk I.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDelivers excellent customer service by greeting visitors, directing incoming faxes or telephone calls to the appropriate staff, forwarding calls to voicemail and/or takes messages as needed. Distributes incoming and outgoing mail and monitors the postage meter balance, maintains conference room schedules, distributes, manages petty cash, calculate and report Consumer Satisfaction Survey results, monthly as applicable. Creates and updates Service Coordination contact list for the assigned counties.Maintains secure and accurate record management for individuals served by assuring confidentiality of individuals' Protected Health Information (PHI) enforcing and following HIPAA policies.Prepare and collaborate records requests for outside agencies as needed by creating designated record sets in applicable systems for all incoming and/or transferring consumers.Assist in assigning consumers to teams and notifies DMH-DD Regional office of assignments by informing new consumers and/or their families of HIPAA policies by providing the Notification of Privacy PracticesAssists and completes audits as requested by reviewing and pulling required documents and sending to the local Regional Office, CMS, and MO HealthNet, and accepts and willingly carries out special assignments or other duties when requested.Reviewing Targeted Case Management (TCM) Billing Claim Confirmation reports by researching reasons for TCM billing rejection to determine corrective action and creates and submits invoices for TCM billing to meet spenddown.
