The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the organization's growth, scientific advancement, and overall impact. This pivotal role involves taking the helm of revenue development, internal operations, staff management, financial oversight, and Board engagement. The Executive Director will work closely with the founder, who is dedicated to research and scientific strategy, to professionalize the organization and significantly expand its fundraising efforts to support the mission of bringing new, more effective treatments to patients within a 3-5 year timeframe.Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, managing donor relationships, and overseeing the financial health of the organization. The role also requires a strong focus on internal operations, including staff management and Board engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in nonprofit leadership, a deep understanding of revenue development, and a passion for the mission of the organization.
