Clinical Faculty, Nursing The Department of Nursing at the University of South Dakota (USD) is seeking applications for a full-time clinical nursing faculty member at the Sioux Falls campus. This is a 9-month, full-time position that provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and development of future nurses in a supportive and dynamic academic environment. The faculty member will be responsible for providing clinical instruction predominantly in direct patient care clinical, simulation and lab setting for pre-licensure students. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.Responsibilities:Clinical teaching in direct patient care, lab and simulation.Evaluation of student learning.Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.Contribution to departmental service activities.Required Qualifications:Current unencumbered nursing license, eligible for licensure in South Dakota.Minimum of a master's degree in nursing from a nationally accredited program by August 18, 2026.Preferred Qualifications:Strong nursing background with experience in medical-surgical nursing.Experience teaching in a baccalaureate of higher degree program.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.Ability to work with technology.Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.Contact Information:Michelle Knuppe, MSN, RN Sioux Falls Site Director & Clinical Experiences Director michelle.knuppe@usd.edu
