Summary: A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses that affect movement and mobility. PTAs assist in implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, and monitoring progress to improve physical function and quality of life. Responsibilities: Help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups. Read instructions from Physical Therapist. Work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients. Speak with families to find best at-home techniques. Keep physical therapy clean and organized. Move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to physical therapy area. Complete administrative tasks, like scheduling appointments and filing paperwork. Requirements Requirements: 1 year of Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) experience Required.
