A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - CCU/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM/n• Full-time position with immediate start availability/n• Provide direct patient care in Critical Care Unit setting/n• Required certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)/n• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required/n• Experience with EPIC EMR system required/n• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program required/n• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of patient population served/n• Obtain and record initial assessments and establish priorities according to patient needs/n• Develop and implement individualized plans of care within established timeframes/n• Perform Point of Care testing procedures/n• Participate in patient/family health education and discharge planning/n• Delegate unit work assignments and coordinate team assignments/n• Function as a resource to visitors, physicians, and staff/n• Maintain current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient population served/n• Demonstrate effective communication skills and professional attitude/n/nFacility:/nThis regional medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides high-quality medical services to the community.
