Safety Trainer

Trainer is responsible for delivering training programs to internal and external clients as well as being a resource with regards to general safety matters. This position supports the organization as a safety resource and subject matter expert. The candidate will be responsible for the following: H2S Clear & Certification Training All methods of Respirator Fit Testing CPR / Medic First Aid Training Safeland Training Maintain all necessary course documentation QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED equivalent Safety related experience Valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured by company policy Ability to speak in front of large groups Bilingual Must understand and follow all safety policies and apply good safety practices while working Must become proficient in the care and use of all site specific, facility required Personal Protection Equipment Knowledge of OSHA regulations This position is subject to a mandatory drug test, criminal background check and potentially education verification as part of the application process.
