Lead Retail Attendant

Description:The Lead Retail Attendant is responsible for providing the sale of merchandise to guests in a fast, friendly, and accurate manner. This full-time position also assists in day-to-day operations and duties as assigned, including sales, inventory, personnel and strategic planning.Accurately operate a cash register including all cash and credit transactionsEnsure guest satisfaction by providing speedy service, excellent customer service and being attentive to guest needsEnsure inventory levels are adequate, and stocks merchandise as neededProtects company assetsAdhere to company and compliance policiesMaintain a clean and safe environment for employees and customersAssist in planning and managing day to day operations, including training, recruitment, and scheduling of employeesEnsuring compliance of company policiesEnsure customer questions/concerns are handled in a timely manner that is also satisfactory to both the guest and the companyOther duties as assignedRequirements: 2-year plus degree preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required6 months plus prior sales, cashier or money handling experience preferredMust be able to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screeningAbility to work under pressure while still providing excellent guest serviceExcellent organizational skills, time management skills, and punctuality are essentialMust have a valid drivers license and be insurableAbility to amend schedule or pick up additional hours to meet business demandsMust be able to work both independently and as a team memberMust successfully pass a math proficiency testOperate in mentally and physically stressful situations, lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to stand for entire shift, up to 10 hoursMust be able to read, write, and speak EnglishPrairie Band, LLC is subject to Title 22: Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
