As we continue to grow, we're looking for a highly driven and proactive professional to help us expand our footprint in mass, grocery/natural, food service, and club retail channels.Sales & Marketing AssociateOverviewWe are seeking a data-driven Sales & Marketing Associate to support revenue growth through actionable insights across sales, marketing, and product development. This role combines analytics, field observations, and cross-functional collaboration to inform strategy and improve performance across retail channels. This role provides exposure to both marketing and sales strategy and has a direct impact on retail growth and product innovation. This person should back a background in data, specifically SPINS or Neilson, data analysis, be a self-starter and pro-active, and be someone willing to grow in their career.Travel time to retailers for shelf/field research and trade shows is necessary.Reports to: Director of Marketing & Product DevelopmentKey ResponsibilitiesAnalyze customer, sales, and competitive data to identify trends and growth opportunitiesEvaluate marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales initiatives performance with KPIs and ROIDevelop and present clear, insight-driven reports to the Marketing CommitteePartner with sales and marketing teams to refine targeting, positioning, and forecastsGenerate customer insights by analyzing demographics, preferences, and purchasing behaviorConduct regular in-store visits to assess shelf placement, product availability, and merchandising executionCapture and analyze shelf images, planograms, and in-store observations across retailersMonitor competitor activity, assortment, pricing, and visual positioningSupport product development with data-backed market insightsManage sample requests and marketing material needs under Dir. of Marketing & Product Development; maintain organized tracking logsTranslate data into clear recommendations and strategic next stepsUnder Marketing Committee's direction, work with in-house and freelance graphic designers to ensure all visual goals are met for sales and marketing materials.QualificationsCandidates must possess either a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Data Analytics or, at minimum, an associate degree combined with relevant experience.Experience with syndicated data (e.g., SPINS and/or Nielsen), Excel, Word, and PowerpointStrong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insightsExcellent communication and presentation skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational abilitiesSelf-starter, strong initiative, and highly motivatedRetail or CPG experience is a plus
