Veterans Benefits Paralegal

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Veterans Benefits team. In this role, you'll support Attorneys, Accredited Representatives, and Senior Paralegal staff in advocating for veterans seeking VA benefits. You will play a key role in reviewing case records, communicating directly with clients, and ensuring administrative tasks are completed with precision and care.
Responsibilities
Review client and potential client records to identify relevant facts for VA claims
Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients over the phone
Complete administrative tasks to support case progression and team operations
Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to stay updated on VA law and best practices
Provide direct support to veterans as they navigate their benefits claims
Requirements
Spanish proficiency – ability to read, write, and speak at a professional level
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time and meet deadlines independently
Experience in client services, administrative support, or other relevant professional setting
Proficiency using a PC and Microsoft Tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.), with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new cloud-based software.
Remote Work
This position is available onsite at our Providence, RI Headquarters, or remote in the following states: CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, LA, ME, MA, NJ, NC, OH, RI, SC, TX, UT, or VA
Work Schedule: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Eastern Time with a 30-minute lunch period.
Remote Work Expectations While this role offers the flexibility of working remotely, it is not a flexible schedule. Employees are expected to maintain the set working hours and dedicate their full attention to the role during this time. Remote work requires a professional, distraction-free environment to ensure productivity and accuracy. Employees must have reliable access to their own internet connection (30 Mbps upload speeds, minimum) and internet router to work remotely.
Starting salary is $21.05 per hour or $43,775 per year
