Program Manager

Large-scale transformation programs require more than project management—they require disciplined execution, strategic leadership, and the ability to bring complex technical and business teams together around a common objective. This role puts you at the center of a major modernization initiative that will change how critical trading data is used to support global commodity trading operations.A global energy organization is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead delivery of a strategic enterprise data transformation within its Crude Trading organization. This role will oversee the successful execution of the Crude Data Exchange (CDE) Phase 2 program, driving the modernization of critical trading data using Azure Databricks while partnering with senior business and technology leaders worldwide.ResponsibilitiesLead delivery of the Crude Data Exchange (CDE) Phase 2 program, ensuring objectives are achieved for scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and business value.Direct delivery of Azure Databricks workstreams, including operational data stores, curated data views, reporting solutions, and enterprise data products.Manage modernization and migration of legacy trading data from the WONA Data Warehouse to a strategic cloud-based platform.Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across business, architecture, engineering, technology, vendors, and delivery partners in multiple global locations.Establish program governance through milestone management, RAID logs, dependency tracking, financial oversight, resource planning, and benefits realization.Identify program risks, technical dependencies, and delivery challenges while driving timely escalation and informed decision-making.Align business requirements, ETRM data domains, architecture standards, and technical delivery activities.Develop and execute change management and stakeholder engagement plans to support adoption of new reporting and data capabilities.Communicate program status, risks, trade-offs, and executive decisions to senior leadership.Ensure delivered capabilities are operationally supportable and provide measurable value to Crude Trading, Operations, Risk, and Finance.QualificationsProven experience delivering enterprise programs with budgets up to $10M+ and teams of 50+ resources.Extensive experience supporting Crude & Products Trading environments.Strong knowledge of ETRM platforms and trading data domains, including trades, risk, positions, P&L, settlements, and market data.Experience delivering Azure Databricks and cloud-based data platform initiatives.Background leading enterprise data migration, data warehouse modernization, and cloud transformation programs.Experience managing Agile program delivery across multiple engineering and data teams.Demonstrated ability to manage program governance, scope, roadmaps, dependencies, and business outcomes.Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Experience with commodity trading analytics, reporting, data governance, and business value realization is preferred.Experience with OpenLink Endur is highly preferred.
