If you’re driven by progress and passionate about shaping the future, Continental Aerospace Technologies™ offers a career path that lets you grow and make a difference.Summary of duties and responsibilities:Perform operations involving the shipping, receiving, storage, and movement of materialPrepare and maintain inventory control documentsPack and prepare supplies and materials for shipmentRotate and issue stock using FIFO methodology (First In First Out)Receive and process all incoming materialMask and label all engine containers per blueprints and/or instructions Load / Unload materialVerify goods received against freight bill; notating discrepanciesMaintain the flow of material between stationsSegregate scrap materialPerform other related duties as assignedPhysical Requirements:Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; up to 30 pounds of force frequently; up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objectsBending of the legs and the waist requiring full motion of the back and lower extremitiesPreferred Skills:Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsWrite routine reports and correspondenceSpeak effectively before groups of customers or team members of the organizationCarry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructionsUse of all types of material handling equipment such as forklift, part picker, floor jack, count scale, tugger, etc… Strong mathematical background; work with figures for sustained periods of time Work at heights up to 24 feetWork any assigned shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd) Tools and equipment that will be used:Material handling equipment; forklift, parts picker, tugger, floor jack, counter scale, and push dolly.Required Education:High School Diploma / GED / Equivalent or HigherMust be willing to work any shift.***Equal Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
