Our benefits package includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision, generous paid time off and holidays, 401(k) plan with company match, life insurance, flexible spending and health savings account, mental health support and resources, short and long-term disability, and tuition reimbursement.LOCATION: This is a traveling position requiring work at project sites across the United States and OCONUS.Pay range: $26.84 - $34.89 per hour + per diem for travelers 95+ miles from the job site.About The JobThe Tepa Companies are seeking experienced Industrial Sandblaster Painters to support coatings and linings projects across the U.S. This role focuses on abrasive blasting and industrial painting for government clients as well as heavy industrial environments such as refineries, petrochemical plants, and storage tank facilities.Job FunctionsPerform abrasive blasting (sandblasting) on steel and industrial surfacesApply industrial coatings and linings to specified thickness using spray, brush, or rollWork on aboveground storage tanks and other industrial structuresOperate equipment such as: Abrasive blast pots, Airless/conventional spray systems, and Plural component pumpsMix coatings and prepare materials per specificationsPerform surface preparation in accordance with SSPC standardsMaintain clean and safe job sites dailyLoad/unload materials and assist with general labor tasksCommunicate with supervisors regarding site conditions and work progressFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsWhat We’re Looking For2+ years of experience as an industrial painter / sandblasterExperience with tank coatings, refineries, or petrochemical environments preferredKnowledge of SSPC surface preparation standardsExperience operating blasting and industrial painting equipmentAbility to travel for extended periods (nationwide projects)Ability to pass background check and drug screening (federal job requirements)Valid driver’s license and reliable transportationStrong work ethic and ability to work in a team environmentAbility to perform physically demanding work.
