Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable SpecialistSchedule: MondayFriday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Pay: $21$24/hour Employment Type: Full-Time Location: ClevelandPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to support daily billing, collections, and customer account management activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with internal teams and customers to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess timely and accurate customer invoice billingsProvide supporting documentation to customers as needed to facilitate paymentsProcess credit card pre-authorizationsPartner with Customer Service and Shipping to resolve invoice discrepanciesProcess credit invoice billings for RGAs / RMAsResearch recurring billing issues and assist with root-cause resolutionPerform daily customer account analysis and collection activitiesCommunicate with customers to resolve open balances and discrepanciesFollow up on delinquent accounts and secure payment arrangementsApply incoming payments (checks, wires, ACH, credit cards)Research deductions and short paymentsMaintain accurate and complete customer filesSupport reconciliation of customer AR balances, rebate programs, and intercompany transactionsProcess new customer credit applications and perform reference checksReview and adjust customer credit limits and payment terms as neededProvide excellent service to both customers and internal teamsServe as backup support for other accounting team members as neededQualificationsAssociates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferredExperience15 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, billing, or collections preferredExperience working in a high-volume environment is a plusSkills & CompetenciesStrong organizational skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities efficientlyStrong attention to detailTeam-oriented mindset with proactive problem-solving abilityWorking ConditionsTemperature-controlled office environmentExtended periods of sitting/standing and computer workTrainingOn-the-job training provided, with opportunities for additional learning through external seminars and classesCompany OverviewSince 1992, Inova Staffing Services has helped businesses navigate their staffing and human resource needs.
