Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU (Intensive Care Unit)Location: Falmouth, MAContract Length: 13 WeeksShift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMSchedule: 3x12-hour shifts | 36 Hours/WeekAdditional Requirements: Every Other Weekend | Rotating Holidays | Floating to Med/Surg Tele Units as NeededPosition Overview"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract assignment in Falmouth, Massachusetts. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated critical care professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.The ICU RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients using evidence-based practices and advanced clinical judgment. The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment skills, critical thinking abilities, and experience with complex patient monitoring and critical care equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care to critically ill ICU patients using the nursing processPerform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously update individualized care plansAdminister medications and monitor patient responses accuratelyMonitor ventilators, hemodynamic systems, and other critical care equipmentMaintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentationCollaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teamsEducate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructionsParticipate in charge nurse duties when assignedAdhere to infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standardsFloat to Med/Surg Telemetry units based on staffing needs and census fluctuationsMaintain professionalism and high-quality patient-centered care at all timesRequired QualificationsGraduate of an accredited School of NursingActive Registered Nurse (RN) licenseCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) certificationCurrent ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certificationRecent ICU/Critical Care nursing experience requiredStrong understanding of critical care procedures and patient monitoringAbility to work effectively in a high-pressure clinical environmentPreferred QualificationsBSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferredCCRN certification preferredExperience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoringExperience with ICP monitoring and advanced critical care practicesStrong clinical documentation and EMR proficiencyExcellent communication and teamwork skillsFor more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
