Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Acute Care/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 12-hour shifts in emergency department with day/night/weekend/holiday rotation/n• Shift times: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM/n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (AHA or RQI only)/n• Minimum one year acute hospital experience as a registered professional nurse required/n• Two years emergency department experience preferred/n• NYS RN licensure required/n• NIHSS certification required/n• Conduct patient triage and assign priority of care using ESI standards/n• Perform primary and secondary assessments for patients of all age groups/n• Utilize invasive and non-invasive procedures and therapeutic interventions/n• Manage life-threatening and routine emergency situations/n• Provide patient and family education for discharge planning/n• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress/n• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members/n• Maintain infection prevention compliance/n• Assess physiological, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and families/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility operates as a memorial hospital providing comprehensive emergency department services to the community.
