SummaryThis position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) - Veterans Health Administration (VHA) - Mid Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) - Richmond VA Medical Center (VAMC) - in Education and Learning Resources Service.QualificationsSPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 level in the Federal service. This experience must have equipped you with the particular knowledge - skills - and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position - and that is typically in or related to the work of this position. Specialized experience includes: Teaching or instructing in an adult education program - secondary school - college - military installation - or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s). Supervising or administering a training program. Development or review of training/course materials - aids - devices - etc. - and evaluation of training results. Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis. Additional qualifying experience: Deliver staff development and facility training using adult learning principles across multiple modalities (in-person - computer-based). Create - revise - and document training procedures - courses - guides - curricula - and instructional materials. Design and administer training needs assessments - surveys - and instruments to identify educational gaps and required interventions. OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED) - Applicants must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. - if related. This education must demonstrate the knowledge - skills and abilities necessary to do the work of this position.
