Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Minster, OHOnly: W2Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to support capital and operational projects in a manufacturing/GMP environment. The role involves working with process equipment, executing field activities, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support execution of projects involving tanks, heat exchangers, and boiler systems
- Read and interpret P&IDs for troubleshooting and system modifications
- Coordinate line breaks, tie-ins, and equipment changes
- Plan and schedule downtime with production teams
- Ensure safety compliance including LOTO procedures
- Perform field activities such as walkdowns and installations
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, EHS, and Quality teams
- Maintain documentation (P&IDs, SOPs, change controls)
- Track project progress, timelines, and risks
- Support contractors and vendors onsite
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related field2–5 years of experience in pharma, biotech, or manufacturing
- Experience with process equipment and P&IDsKnowledge of LOTO and industrial safety practices
- Hands-on field experience and strong mechanical aptitude
- Exposure to GMP environments
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with shutdown planning and project coordination
- Familiarity with SAP/CMMS tools
- Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems
