While reporting to the Regional Finance leader, the Controller remains part of the location leadership team, participating in management meetings and building strong relationships with location stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and dynamic Finance/Accounting professional. They will understand financial concepts and how these relate to operational procedures and outcomes.Detailed ResponsibilitiesEnsuring accurate and timely of reporting of financial reportingPartnering with operations teams to ensure a clear understanding of financial goals and targetsWorking with regional and operations finance team to implement financial optimization programsDevelop action plans to drive financial performanceWorking with operations teams to help them understand financial data and take actions to drive improvements where necessaryWorking closely with partner finance team where applicableWorking with location leader to continually refine and update weekly location financial forecastsComplete a monthly close of the general ledgerProactive management of accounts receivable at the location based on the terms of our contractual agreementsCompleting the 'MSR' each day and producing a balanced month end 'MSR'Monitoring and managing credit card settlementsManaging wire transfer requests and subcontractor paymentsOverseeing the management of the cash room and armored car pick-upsManaging an accurate and timely month-end close processManagement of capital asset tracking at the locationManagement of all annual budgetary processes including the posting of AP accruals and transfersEnsuring and maintaining the accuracy of tax rates for financial reportingEnsuring appropriate retention and management of all documentationCompleting annual financial auditsOverseeing the timely collection of accounts receivableBalancing of direct bills and invoice adjustmentsOther duties and responsibilities as assignedSkills and Experience3+ years in a Finance/Accounting roleOperational experience in food and beverage is preferredBusiness Degree and/or CPA certification is preferredHigh level of computer literacyPassion for hospitality, food, and retailExcellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work non-standard hours as dictated by event scheduleCurious about Life at Levy?
