Ideal candidates will have 2 or more years of experienceworking in a production brewery, works well on a collaboration minded team, prioritizes attention to detail,disciplined adherence to logical reasoning and mechanical aptitude.Position: BrewerReports to: BrewmasterJob Posted: May 25, 2026Projected Start Date: June 15, 2026 Job DescriptionWayfinder Beer’s Brewers must maintain and properly execute all functions of thebrewery according to policy and procedure, safety requirements, and best practices.Job Responsibilities, Including But Not Limited ToEffectively Communicate with Brewmaster and TeamPerform all job functions within the structure described in Wayfinder Beer Employee Handbook of Policies and Procedures.Efficiently execute production duties including wort production, fermentation management,filtration, transferring beer, bright beer handling, CIP FV’s and BT’s, packaging, maintenance.Keg cleaning, filling Maintain brewing, cellaring, clarification and other related documentation in anorganized and complete manner.Ensure a clean working environment and uphold all local Health Departmentrules and regulations.Perform basic sensory analysis of beers and raw ingredients throughoutfermentation and packaging.Participate in and productively contribute to collaborative environment Ensure that all beer is produced to standards and specifications.Follow best practices and safety requirements dutifully.Attend brewery staff meetings as required.Exhibit the ability to explain technical information, ideas and concepts.Exhibit the ability to listen and follow instructions.Participate in festivals and promotional events as neededJob RequirementsA well-rounded knowledge of brewing, beer styles and beer knowledgeAble to work and communicate well with others.Organized and detail oriented; accurate record keeping skills.Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing/manufacturing setting.Some schedule flexibility with dynamic brewing schedule Physical RequirementsLift 55 lbs. from ground to shoulder high.Lift 75 lbs. from ground to waist high and move 150 lbs. along the floor.Push pallets of spent grain, spent grain of various weights Climb stairs, ramps, and ladders.Work in small and confined spaces.Work safely with chemicals with reasonable safety accommodations.Work in a loud environment with basic safety accommodations.Read, write and calculate basic algebra.Follow safety guidelines and adhere to PPE standards.CompensationHourly Compensation PTO based on hours worked detailed in the employee handbookHoliday payMonday- Friday8hr or 10hr shifts, Start times will vary depending on scheduling needsHealth Care after 90 days of 32+ hours/week workedBeer BenefitsMeals in the pub / employee discount"Research shows that women and underrepresented groups often only apply to jobs if they meet 100% of the criteria.
