Job Summary The role of the AM Lead Technician isto work in conjunction with the SLS and SLA Supervisors to manageworkloads and priorities of the SLA and SLS departments. This positionwill provide day-to-day leadership of personnel and problem-solvingtechniques to ensure project timelines and department goals aresatisfied. This position will also be a contributing member of thedepartment, using proficient 3D printing techniques and processes toproduce high precision parts. EssentialFunctions Read and interpret prints, specification sheets, and/or 3Dfiles to determine machine setup Perform intermediate to advanced AMprogramming Perform intermediate operations of 3D printers for multipletechnologies, including: SLA/DLP - Perform build startups and vat swapsSLS/MJF - Perform build startups, frame changes, and powder refillsFDM - Perform build startups, machine calibrations, and tip changesAbility to troubleshoot issues with machines or part quality Performintermediate post processing and finishing techniques of completed partsTrack production progress using ERP system Perform dimensional andvisual inspection of parts per specifications using basic measuringequipment Coordinate daily production needs with supervisor and assistin establishing production priorities Identify and communicateproduction challenges or successes and workload status Use goodjudgement to make sound and reasonable decisions related to production,quality, and cost control Train and mentor new and current employees ondepartment operations and procedures; ensure proper and completeknowledge of training Collaborate with Project Managers to calculatetime and material costs for quoting purposes Monitor departmentinventory levels Research and recommend purchase of tools, equipment,and supplies as required Assist with cleaning and preventativemaintenance of machines, tools, and work stations Assist withcoordinating\...
