The position supports astudent-centered, workforce-aligned curriculum and contributes toongoing program quality and continuous improvement efforts consistentwith AACSB accreditation standards. Teach undergraduate courses in Human Resource Management; potentialto teach graduate courses in the MBA HRM concentration Deliver instruction in multiple modalities, including face-to-faceand online Maintain instructional quality and engage students in a supportivelearning environment Contribute to student success through accessibility, communication,and mentoring Collaborate with faculty on curriculum alignment, coursedevelopment, nd program assessment Participate in assurance of learning and continuous improvementprocesses Engage in service activities appropriate to a unit B appointmentRANK & SALARY: Instructor, 9-month appointment. \$7,950 - \$8,333 permonth, commensurate with experience.Western Illinois University employees may be eligible for a variety ofState of Illinois benefits.These benefits are administered through the Illinois Department ofCentral Management Services (CMS). Relevant professional experience in Human Resource Management or arelated area Demonstrated ability or potential for effective teaching at theundergraduate level. Commitment to student-centered teaching and applied learning.Preferred Qualifications Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) Prior teaching experience in HRM or related business disciplines Experience teaching in online or hybrid formats Evidence of ongoing professional engagement consistent with AACSBIP/SP expectations (e.g., consulting, professional development,applied scholarship, or industry partnerships) Ability to contribute to graduate instruction in an MBA programFor a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionallyaccredited degree-granting institution of higher education (orequivalent from an international accrediting body).
