New Product Introduction Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTIONThe NPD Program Manager is responsible for implementing the introduction of new product into the on-going production systems. The NPD Program Manager will communicate, coordinate, and facilitate activity designed to enable the company to support new products in on-going production. The Program Manager will deliver hands-on expertise in full life cycle PCB development, electro-mechanical, and APQP quality planning processes.Essential Functions:Program Manager in managing the New Product Introduction (NPI) effortsReview and ensure program plan, project tracker is released and updated as appropriateOverall responsibility for project tracker adherence, timely updates and completionFacilitate communication among the program ,management team membersInsure appropriate access to accurate real time information among the team and other interested partiesOversee the program deliverable including timely completion of program management level activitiesResolve issues due to lack of information or conflicts among team membersApprove PCO's as necessary for individual programsCommunication interface between Morey and the customerPerform other duties as assignedRequired Attributes:3+ years Project Management experience within manufacturingDemonstrate understanding of company systems and requirements, particularly those thatimpact or are impacted by the new product management processesKnowledge of the general production flow and requirementsAbility to lead a groupUnderstanding of program management techniquesKnowledge of Interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking and basic customer relations skillsAbility to create, conduct, and document team meetings which include internal and external participantsAdvanced ability to within spreadsheets and project planning software
