Lead Project Manager – Industrial InsulationA well-established industrial contractor is seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager to lead complex mechanical and piping projects across Ohio. You will be assisting with building out the Ohio market whilst also managing operations and estimates.OverviewThis role will be heavily focused on mechanical piping systems, while also supporting broader industrial construction scopes including structural steel, process systems, and related self-perform or subcontracted work.You’ll be responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality expectations are consistently met or exceeded.Key ResponsibilitiesLead execution of industrial mechanical Insulation and piping projects from start to finishManage project budgets, schedules, change orders, and cost controlsCoordinate with field superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and ownersOversee procurement of piping systems, mechanical equipment, and materialsEnsure compliance with safety programs and quality standardsDrive project planning, including sequencing, manpower planning, and logisticsMaintain strong client relationships and represent the company in project meetingsSupport estimating and preconstruction efforts as neededIdeal Background5–10+ years of experience in industrial construction, with strong emphasis on mechanical/pipingProven track record managing projects in the $5M–$50M+ range (varies by candidate experience)Experience with industrial facilities such as manufacturing, process plants, energy, or heavy industrial sitesStrong understanding of piping systems, fabrication, installation, and field coordinationAbility to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and construction drawingsStrong leadership, communication, and financial management skillsWhat’s OfferedCompetitive base salary + performance bonusStrong pipeline of industrial work across Ohio Opportunity to lead high-visibility projects with real ownershipCareer growth within a stable and expanding industrial contractorSupportive leadership team with field-first execution mindset📍 LocationOhio, Cleveland and surrounding areas
