CX Data Labs prioritizes client success and collaboration, fostering long-term partnerships built on trust and measurable outcomes.Role Description The Data and AI Solutions Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX. This role is responsible for designing, building, and deploying data and AI solutions that address client business needs, including data pipelines, integration frameworks, and machine learning models. Day-to-day activities include gathering requirements with stakeholders, translating business challenges into technical designs, implementing data architectures, and configuring analytics and AI services. The engineer will develop and test data workflows, optimize performance and reliability, and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with best practices. The role also involves collaborating with consultants and client teams, preparing technical documentation, and supporting solution delivery, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.Qualifications Strong skills in data engineering and architecture, such as designing data pipelines, integrating data sources, and working with relational and non-relational databases.Experience with AI and analytics technologies, including building and deploying machine learning models, using modern AI frameworks, and implementing data-driven solutions.Proficiency in programming and scripting relevant to data and AI solutions, such as Python, SQL, and related tools for automation, data processing, and model deployment.Capability in cloud and platform services for data and AI (e.g., major cloud providers, analytics platforms, and orchestration tools) to design secure, scalable solutions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical implementations.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with consultants, client stakeholders, and technical teams in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.Experience in consulting, customer-facing solution delivery, or working with enterprise clients is highly beneficial.
