Hospital Assistant

Location: Palo Alto, CADescription:We are seeking Runners who are responsible for transporting samples and related material to and from clinical departments of the hospital. Runners also help to keep the Lab departments clean and in orderly condition. Runners transport belongings and samples approved for distribution to nursing units or clinical department either by hand carrying them or sending them by the pneumatic tube system. Runners also collect belongings and lab samples that are placed in other departments. Essential Functions Triage samples according to the priority and urgency (stat vs regular) and transport them in the most efficient and secure methods. Make regular visit to nursing units and clinical departments to collect samples and material to return to the lab. Assist delivering samples and equipment. Other work as assigned.Shift times available:7am-3:30pm3pm-11:30pm40 hours a week with weekendsRequirements:+ An interest in healthcare/hospital roles+ Comfortable with being on your feet all dayJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Palo Alto, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
