Automation Maintenance TechnicianPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Automation Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting automated systems and machinery to ensure efficient operations. This role requires expertise in automation technologies and machine maintenance, along with strong problem-solving skills to address any technical issues that arise.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on automated machinery and equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs and control systems.Implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.Collaborate with engineering teams to improve automation processes.Document maintenance activities and update maintenance logs.Assist in the installation and configuration of new automation systems.QualificationsProven experience in automation and machine maintenance.Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.Familiarity with electrical wiring and AC/DC systems.Experience with Rockwell Studio 5000, RS Logix 500, and RS Linx is preferred.Ability to work with AutomationDirect and Maple Systems tools, including Easy Builder ProHMI and LS-Navigator 2.Basic knowledge of SolidWorks and Zumbach Controls is a plus.
