Group Clinician
Child & Family Services is looking to hire a full-time Group Clinician. This position is designed to provide our clients and families with consistent, high-quality care through an array of evidence-based, culturally competent, person-centered and family-centered treatment. The role of Group Clinician includes assisting clients and families with establishing a continuum of health and behavioral healthcare, ensuring open access to services and community resources, providing counseling services including group work, while identifying and linking clients and families with the appropriate level of care to best support their needs. This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position with evening/weekend flexibility required. This position is funded through the SAMHSA CCBHC Project and is not production based.

Qualifications:
A completed Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or other clinical licensure eligible degree program is required
This individual must be license eligible for an LICSW, LMHC, LMFT or LADC-I

Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities are not meant to be all inclusive and may be adjusted to meet the agency’s needs.
Provide a safe, welcoming, and clean environment for our clients and families
Facilitate groups or community workshops in the clinic, schools or a community setting
Perform trauma-informed assessments to identify the unique needs of clients
Complete necessary intake paperwork including pre-screenings, biopsychosocial assessments, releases and consent forms with the clients and family’s permission. Provide psycho-education to clients and families regarding their rights and responsibilities
Facilitate individual and family sessions as appropriate for clients actively participating in Group therapy
Collect and gather pertinent information from clients and families to better understand their symptoms, behaviors, history, identified strengths and needs, overall functioning, treatment goals and identify preferences to determine appropriate level of care and services
Work in collaboration with team members, clients and families to implement person-centered and family-centered, recovery-oriented, evidence-based and trauma-informed care
Provide crisis management services and coordinate with Emergency Services as appropriate
Utilize evidence-based interventions, including motivational interviewing skills to empower clients and families with improving their overall health and wellness
Engage in effective coordination of care across health and behavioral health services to facilitate wellness and recovery of the whole person
Maintain a flexible schedule that is conducive to providing services in an open access model that will include in-person and telehealth services
Maintain record-keeping as required by CFS, funding sources, and accreditation authorities
Adhere to SAMHSA, the CCBHC, and CFS expectations, policies and procedures
Participate in all supervision and training activities as required by CFS, funding sources, and accreditation authorities
Keep EHR calendar up to date to support centralized scheduling
If licensed, complete continued education to maintain clinical professional licensure and ensure that licensure remains active
